The accommodation cost for the week range from a six bedroom unit at €1060 down to a two-bedroom unit at €630. These rates for the retreat are lower than advertised on the website.
Each unit has its own separate bathroom and toilet so you can share a unit with other participants and therefore share the costs.

The Fattoria is approximately 1 hours drive south of Florence for those hiring a car. If travelling by train from Rome or Florence you can get off at Figline Valdarno railway station and a 20 minute taxi ride to Fattoria L’Ottavo. In the past groups of attendees have arranged to meet in Florence. We will help organise a meeting point near Santa Maria Novella Railway Station in Florence so you can share a mini bus to the Fattoria.
All apartments are in tranquil surroundings with both the outer structure of the buildings as well as the entire interior kept in the typical style of Tuscany. All apartments were recently restored and furnished with modern comfort like satellite TV, wall safes, modern baths, etc., and have a splendid view over the surrounding vineyards, as well as a garden or terrace. It is a working winery in a working village (it is more rustic than tourist orientated).
The apartments are in the oldest original part of the winery, whose beginnings go back app. to the year 1000. The kitchens of all apartments are equipped with 4-flame gas stoves, electro ovens, filter coffee machines, crockery and cutlery, etc. You will find typical Tuscan restaurants in the local villages of Lucolena and Dudda and a supermarket in the town of Greve (20 minutes drive). Internet connection is available in most rooms including Wi-Fi.
Greg has reserved all the apartments for the retreat and will coordinate the allocation of the rooms. Payment for the accommodation will be made to the Fattoria on checking in.
