This reflective retreat explores the power of the mediator’s shared humanity and the role it plays in navigating that liminal space between necessary endings and fresh beginnings.
It introduces the approach of the late French mediator, Jacqueline Morineau’s, ‘La Médiation Humaniste’.
The foundation of humanistic mediation is learning to be at peace with yourself and thus with others.

This paper is dedicated to Jacqueline Morineau, French mediator and archaeologist, who died on 15 July 2023 aged 89 years.

Workshop Fees & Venue
The Retreat fee is 1,200 Euros including accommodation and meals
The workshop runs from 12.30pm Friday 18 September until 4 pm Sunday 20 September 2026. It will include a light welcome lunch and an evening meal on the Friday, breakfast and long table lunches on Saturday and Sunday.
